  • The first 1–2 sessions are a time for me to get to know you and your story. We’ll go at your pace as we talk through your background, what’s been bringing you in, and what you’re hoping for. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this is about creating a space where you can begin to feel comfortable, understood, and supported.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy approach that helps your brain process and heal from distressing or overwhelming experiences. It works by allowing memories that feel “stuck” to be reprocessed, so they feel less intense and easier to live with.

  • Yes—grief isn’t limited to the loss of a person. It’s a natural response to any meaningful loss, including changes in relationships, identity, faith, health, or life circumstances. Your experience is valid, even if it doesn’t look like “traditional” grief.

  • Sometimes emotions build up over time when you’ve been carrying stress, disconnection, or unmet needs. Even if nothing dramatic has happened, your emotional system can still be responding to ongoing strain.

  • Body image concerns involve how you think and feel about your body, while an eating disorder includes more persistent patterns with food, eating behaviors, and body image that can impact your physical and emotional well-being. Both can be deeply distressing, and both deserve support.

  • Intuitive Eating is a compassionate, non-diet approach that helps you reconnect with your body’s natural cues—like hunger, fullness, and satisfaction. Unlike dieting, it focuses less on rules and restriction and more on trust, flexibility, and body awareness—so you can build a more peaceful, trusting relationship with food.
